The BlackBerry Storm 9550 catches your attention with a sleek and refined design and measures 4.4 x 2.4 x 0.5 inches. It’s heavier than the HTC Imagio, for instance, weighing 5.6 ounces, but it’s definitely comfortable to carry inside a pocket or purse. This smartphone also comes with a brushed aluminum back panel that provides a classy look.

The front surface of the smartphone is dominated by a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 360 x 480 pixels, able to support 65,000 colors. This operating system offers an improved BlackBerry browser, faster JavaScript and CSS processing and more attractive widgets.

You will also be able to use voice-activated dialing, speed dial, text and multimedia messaging, Bluetooth 2.0, 3G and Wi-Fi. This smartphone also provides support for visual voice mail and a phone book limited only by the memory available. So, you will be ale to add for each contact various phone numbers, email addresses, picture ID and other personal details. This Storm 2 also offers GPS/A-GPS support and comes with BlackBerry Maps on board, allowing you to access turn by turn instructions and to search for local business. As any other BlackBerry device, the Storm 9550 is able to sync with your company’s BlackBerry Enterprise Server and deliver real time emails. You can also access POP3 and IMAP4 email accounts and open any Word, Excel, JPG and Power Point email attachment.

The BlackBerry Storm 9550 also offers a built-in media player which supports various file formats and a 3.2MP camera equipped with LED flash, camera settings and video recording capabilities. Call quality is good with rich and clear conversations and without background noise. The 1400mAh battery is able to provide 5.5 hours of talk time. The Storm 9550 is definitely a great business device.
